I was quite disappointed by tonight red carpet looks to be honest. When I saw favourite golden girls of mine like Michelle Williams walking out looking bland and uninspiring in a bad Mommy prom dress (except for her Olympia Le-Tan clutch of course). Unfortunately this seemed to be a theme tonight until I was happily surprised by newcomers like soon to be Bond Girl, Naomie Harris in a canary coloured, Emilio Pucci spectacle, and unknown Melissa George in a Victoria Beckham liquid leather-like masterpiece. It was the underdogs, newcomers, and/or not my usual favourites that shined tonight, but I remain optimistic that my starlets will not let me down for what is left of the award season.
